this is Inner Mongolia which is part of China not Mongolia Republic as a country. the reason I posted those pictures is because last week Chinese central government announced reopen 72 mines there. and Inner Mongolia is one of four most important most productive coal mining region in China, both by size and resources they ranked second. also they were most criticize by environmentalists because of it millions square miles of untouched grassland.
