We're not even in winter yet. Europe has very little gas in storage. China has huge coal and gas shortages which is already causing blackouts and economic slowdown.
Japan, South Korea and developing SE Asia are desperate to keep their coal plants humming to keep steel and heavy industry recovering with huge backlogs of cars, materials, machinery etc...
In reality, this is only just the start.
Europes only pontential saviour this winter is the wind (good luck!!)
