Coal futures dropping isn’t a bad thing as most speculators* are running for the closest door thus less reason for China to intervene in the markets again.
*It’s been my opinion that the recent coal rally is largely due to speculators on the basis of a cold winter they’ll all run away now.
US$150-160 for this winter seems more reasonable.
