A. Tillet, re the new Free Trade Agreement announced today with India, said"Other goods where tariffs will be immediately axed include wool, lobsters, COAL, manganese, copper and zirconium, alumina, titanium dioxide and some critical minerals.
Coal, wine, lobsters and barley are among the $20 billion worth of exports that China has targeted with trade sanctions. India already sources 25 per cent of its coal needs from Australia, making it Australia’s third biggest customer".

It appears almost certain that Australian coal exports to India will rise significantly. There will also, most probably, be increased Indian investment in Australian coal mining.
This FTA with India bodes very well for WHC, & the coal industry generally; & more export $ for Australia- the Tax Dept. will also be very pleased.
