From a non-public map, the main rail line used by WHC is partially closed, possibly between Muswellbrook and Werris Creek due to flooding. There are a few trains stopped.

South of Muswellbrook to and from the Port of Newcastle trains appear to be operating normally, albeit slowly in a few cases

t'd be preferable if there were media reports to give a more comprehensive handle on the situation.

WHC normally has a significant thermal coal stockpile at the port but being unable to deliver further 9000 tonne loads per train is far from ideal.

There are changes on routes 224 and 244 train services due to flooding. Services on routes 224 and 244 are replaced by bus services. Train ex Moree and Armidale to Werris Creek. Then coach connections to Sydney. Plan ahead and allow extra travel time.
