In my previous life was electricity generation engineer, trust me on this.
For every BIG TIME electricity generator short term price of coal is not an issue. Issue is do you have enough to keep going or not, cost is optional. Losses from unavailability due stopping/starting always exceed fuel pricing. Power generators will pay any price to keep going, like EU gas prices these days often used for electricity generation. Gone are for years ahead days of plentiful always available DIRT CHEAP Russian energy exports like gas coal nuclear and oil.
Do not forget other ''dirty'' energy intensive max polluting industries Russians run in faraway lands well hidden from Greta.
This is only a start of new ball game. Not very good for many am afraid.
