Well, previosly makattack, would assume that mak has been sold to cover other portfolio carnage.
But to be up on a down day, as was the case last january, 2008, suggests that the buying of mak is now more dominant than the covering of other losses.
ie people are going after a good thing, having waded past the debris of their portfolios.
