I reckon it's just neighbourhood associations with WTI. Fundamentally Europe needs more coal, so I personally find it difficult to read to much into the WTI noise other than rebalancing trades. The Germans are very rapidly realising that renewables can't replace coal, even though they thought it could. Really poor planning or they actually planned the failure as part of the great reset... difficult to know why... although, it's going to be a cold winter in Germany..The German equivalent of their ABC is regularly publishing articles which, if published in Australia, would be considered to be the equivalent of Sky News..
