Just a reminder that I predicted an average coal price of $530 aud for a 3 month rolling quarter back at the start of May and you called it "overly optimistic" and the expected EBITDA of $2b "bullshit".
You predicted I was out by $100/t but based on the quarterly, I came in at just $16 over which ain't bad given there was a month to go, exchange rate variability and trying to predict the price lag from ICE.
The $2b EBITDA I predicted for a "rolling quarter" is almost identical to what you are now predicting for this quarter (~$2.1b). Glad to see our math is now lining up (mine was just a 3 month prediction from day of post). I know at the time it was hard for people to accept given those profits seemed unimaginable at the time.
