China has form in manipulating markers, usually failing.
look at iron ore for example. Coal is no different, at current prices I’m happy to stay invested. Demand can never trickle to zero, it can only reduce. With conflict elsewhere I see more of a reallocation and adjustment than demand destruction specifically.
