I doubt PE will acquire coal.
They need value to sell.
Not unless the investment is closed for a specific period and a liquidity event baked in.
on balance they will need their sources of investment with ESG profiles.
buyback of shares might create management buyout .. I say this without looking at MSE and investor spread
