At a quick look between Maitland, NSW and Narrabri NSW there are three loaded coal trains ex Narrabri, a further one delineated as originating at 'Whitehaven' and four loaded trains from Maules Creek, all bound for the Port of Newcastle NSW.
I couldn't see any travelling between Maitland and Kooragang Island.
While I can't say whether this is more than on the equivalent 2021 day, eight trains may have around 60000-70000 tonnes of black gold in total so that's a good contribution to the stockpile that hagetaka previously said typically holds about 11 weeks' worth of exports.
Keep those coal trains coming!
