Yes, I did notice that they were still losing money.
but looking at their revenue margin, it was around 8.8% which is pretty impressive. it's been a while since I had a look at their financial report/IPO prospectus, what was their biggest expense? Losses from the loan?
ultimately, I'm happy for the us to price affirm the way it is, but I didn wonder whether there are currently certain deals that are adding value to their MC, ie I think they have a deal with Shopify
i dont actually know, but as I postulated on a previous post that the acquisition is more akin to a coalition, as I see Brad and adam holding onto looking after running the business after the acquisition. Also they have performance shares due in if they reach milestones. I think those performance shares are significant. Goodfella seemed to think the quadpay deal was terrible and that zip overpaid...
