i guess we will find out in future periods. But that sudden reduction in the dividend could be a warning sign. The latest 7c dividend is the lowest since March 2020. The whole point of owning REITS is to receive a stable income (dividend) that rises over time.
If this dividend cut continues, then that basic premise has been nullified.
Note: my position is still held, but its a small remainder that has been left in the portfolio most of my position was sold late last year/early this year to make way for the purchase of other stocks.
Share price declines are pricking my interest again, but the cut to the dividend is flashing warning signs to me.
