"Surely" is a word I used with apprehension these days. I'm looking at 2.17/18 on my screens at the moment. While there is no love for goldies since the intelligent people saw a spike in some U.S bond yields, there seems no be nothing but slap after slap for OGC. It just confirms the intelligent people are fragile, and easily spooked. Surely? Surely is a dangerous notion to embrace. Its like believing that price of gold is determined in a competitive market, free from manipulation. I'm sure the kids with their crayons will scribble on price charts and divine where the 'support' and 'resistance' are. I am sure everyone has an opinion and many will have one accompanied with a crayon drawing. I am underwater sufficiently in OGC to be a 'long term investor', LOL. Its an uncomfortable excuse used way too often. My other goldies are all wonderfully in the black. But, yes, I am nervous about the short-term too, especially with respect to the price of gold.
