True to a point but im not so sure this oil price malaise is just about demand...there are a lot of other dynamics politically at play here...Libya has been he whipping boy of late...and now they have a falling production line in just 3 days...from having everything started again...wont be long before they are offline again...if the Saudis want to flex muscle...which is coming to crunch time I think...they can create a lot of heart ache for the Middle East that dont comply...
The Americans are the blind Freddy...so for example...Saudis stop paying for arms if more Riggs come online when taps are turned off...and so on and so forth...The US has a lot more to lose with a decline in arms sales than producing and exporting oils...
