PTR is a great well oiled marketing engine. PTR will be the first company to be generating commercial power from Hot Rocks.
There is nothing wrong with a little hype and certainly they are helping spread the message. Coupled with ratification of Kyoto today I imagine there will be upside in the next month or two.
The only downside risk to a little hype is what happens if they are not first to market?
GDY is about to finish Hab 3, and is a lot more advanced than PTR. Both companies will face risk and setbacks, but I would keep an eye out for GDY just in case they cross the finish line first. News is GDY has ordered their Turbine.
I would hope if GDY does cross the line first, they they will carry the rest of the industry with them and really show that HDR is proven. However there could also be some disappointed holders because well, PTR will be the first company to generate commercial power, full stop. Not much room for error now.
