It could just be a spike in gold trading.
Although I have been waiting for more than a year since Macquarie got that mandate to find GRY their project finance. The problem is they cant go through HK or China as Burkina Faso does not have foreign relations with the PRC, so the door is hard shut for them in the terms of being any sort of potential takeover buyer!
