Despite the Professors protestation on the silliness of it all, Phylogica have announced that they've identified a panel of phylomers able to inhibit MYC activity in vitro with some candidates showing equal or better activity than Omomyc. Is Phylogica barking up the wrong tree!
Indeed, is there a synergy between KRAS and Omomyc, between Phoremost's Siteseeker and Phylogica's Omomyc lookalikes. As I indicated in a earlier post on Targeting Kras 'one set of mapping data could potentially drive both small molecule and biologics programs'.
