It appears that the AWE Presentation may not contain a definitive set of targets.

I sent a query to AWE about the apparent confusion between information on slide 10 talking about Tui S.W and Tui N.E. yet slide 11 showing on the map areas Tui S.E. and Tui N.E. circled.

The reply indicated that talking about definite final targets was a bit premature yet.
"The drilling campaign has not yet been set by AWE or approved by the JV. We have adequate rig time available for Hoki plus 3-4 wells, but the sequence has NOT been finalised."

So the presentation may have just indicated that Hoki was pretty sure thing for AWE and then the Tui near targets were just popped in there as possibles but have not been okayed yet.

It looks as though there is no hurry to decide which near Tui targets they will go with. Drilling will not happen till late 2009 so my source indicated that the need to firm up positions and for the JV to finalise on targets is not pressing.
"The Tui programme is not set, as per your suggestion. It will be set when the JV approves the number of wells and the prospects to be drilled. AWE is the Operator and largest holder of equity in this area. We are not certain of the timing on this drilling, but it may not be imminent, as it is unlikely to occur until the very latter part of 2009, based on the current schedule."

So back to the drawing board.
