Under critical mineral, ex China Graphite supply (Both Synthetic and Natural) can be only met with Syrah and what China has in the past to create monopoly by subsidising China heavily so that others can't survive was a grand plan and China is quite successful in the past. Trump has exposed that this is not possible in future.
It is only matter of few days or weeks that both Balama and Vidalia operations will start to full potential. Afterall it came down to National Security of US and I don't think there will be any compromise (at least not for next 3.5 years)
