I’m guessing that as soon as Biden comes into power, the Chinese government will regain its sense of growing superiority over the west (no more vocal attacks from the US president) and will thus feel less of a need to defend itself (attacking smaller Western nations such as Australia). I honestly see China as a big bully, and whenever a bully is getting attacked by someone larger they protect their ego and self perception by bullying those who are smaller than them. Let’s see through
