Been reading with intrest and going over a lot of info on the Tarnugulla goldfield. Correct me if i,m wrong as i cant bring up much concrete evidence on it but from my research it would appear that Cgt already have a decline with a reasonable unmined portion of resource. It would appear Reef mining prematurely pulled the plug on the Nick o time shoot due to low gold prices and lack of milling capacity capped at 1500 tonnes a month and the fact they had to transport it to Maldon. The nick o time shoot was averaging an ounce to the tonne. The historic poverty reef next door averaged 3 oz to the tonne. There are also other historic records indicating that many other shoots in the vicinity averaged over an ounce to the tonne. Anyway my thoughts on this are now they have a plant and if the decline is still serviceable if dewatered then at current gold prices it may well be economic to go in get the remnant resource . It may well be Cgt have another cheap way in to early production. The problem for CGT at the moment is they have so many projects all with good potential what do you pursue first. I think Ballarat Lamberris area has to come first as its dewatered and almost ready to mine but it could well be targunulla comes next .
