surely you don't imagine the US economy is a similar state to Germany after WW1 and paying budget breaking reparations to countries they seriously damaged with the German aggression?
I agree the US is in serious trouble economically. they've ridden on their credit card without a care for the critical debt level. they keep believing they're the richest, most powerful nation and are the World Police. Trump is no different to Biden except that Trump thinks only of his own desires (he has no needs ex. POWER).....
imo China will signal the end of US dominance...... but only when the people lose their self-belief will US be humbled.
but you can bet the UN, World Bank, IMF and even UNWRA will come to US's need for aid before the nation "fails" ..... too big to fail.
