Now there are tariffs on all chinese goods into the US - despite the opportunity in CHina I would suggest this trade war is the new normal, not just a Trumpism. IF the company was clever in the medium to long term it would establish a factory in the US and start looking for supplies of bentonite and the rare earth component closer to the US market (kinda makes sense also from a logistics perspective - large quantities of a heavy product needed - was thinking the company needs to develop bulk slurry tankers for this stuff, not 25kg bags or bulka bags.

Apropo the comments also about the FLorida folks saying the Chinese solution wont work - we need to be seen as an international company, not an Australian or Chinese one - probably unavoidable but should do our best to mitigate the geo-political risks everyone is so eager to brush aside.
