Buying selling the same stock though swing trading isn't relative though... that's just trading.
Doing it over two stocks that the relative trading works allows you to be in 1 or the other stock, prior to TAS going into mining (forced by the ASX) being in 100% TAS or EDE at the time didn't matter cause each would rise/fall on the back of an announcement from EDE.
Now that TAS is in mining if you were to be majority in EDE and then TAS gets a good announcement with the mining TAS might rise substantially but EDE stays put. It is a bit more tricky these days than times gone by.
