Just got back from Tassie on Monday. Had a great time and did just about everything in short time. Tassie is great but I was expecting Victorian quality food and accomadation. The food and accom was W.A. quality, that is overpriced and hit and miss. Good hotel in Launceston for $130 a night and terrible in Hobart for $190 a night. Last night in Launceston $30 a main meal resturant and I got food poisoning. Real pain flying back. I would go back but hire camper so can do own cooking and avoid the hotels. Go to NZ for now leave Tas to when they catch up.
