If you also enjoy driving, NZ roads are an absolute dream ... corners/curves are so well cambered the car virtually steers itself ... line ball, but I reckon spend the time on a NZ South Island road tour ... a surreal trip through Lord of the Rings country south from Queenstown.
But Tassie is awesome too (if you can ignore cruddy roads lol)
