RFG (Crust Owner among many other franchise brands) mention a new omni-channel customer experience in their FY23 presentation. They specifically mention an app for ordering as well. But it is part of a whole suite of things, so they don't go into detail on it. They also don't get specific about which brands it will rollout to etc. They have Crust, Pizza Capers, Gloria Jeans, Michels Patisserie, Brumby's Bakery, Donutking, cafe2U, the coffee guy, di bella and caffe coffee. So if TASK can get one of these brands using their app, there's more they can potentially supply to in the same group. I don't know if Brumby's or Donutking would ever need an app, but certainly a few there that could use it.
I personally wouldn't bother talking to someone working a cash register at a local Crust store. Go ask their management team. Or otherwise call up Task and ask them directly. The local store won't know what's happening with this type of thing.
