Especially when a packet will cost about $45 in a year or two....
But I think this will be challenged an will most likely go all the way to the High Court if not nipped in the Bud ( so to speak ) in the lower courts.
It is a Age discrimination act..... Those born prior to 1 jan 2000 can smoke if over 18......those born after 2000 1st January can not ....if even over 18.... ( you will have a pre and post age smoking problem ) When this is brought in, in 2018....
I can not see it becoming reality in the state....
