You've seen them, those lucky Tasmanians, enjoying a glorious covid-19 free day at the beach today.

Opps I got part of that wrong, they were covid-19 free, but they weren't at the beach. They were freezing their arses off burning every bit of furniture they own to stay warm. Coldest day on record ever, minus 14.2c.

If only Al Gore was there, he could have regaled the frozen stiff Tasmanians with his tales from the late 1980's were he said that snow would be a thing of the past by now. The Tasmanians could then have turned Gore into a popsicle, or perhaps an ice sculpture of a Dodo.
