I moved to Tassie ten years ago from the Banana state. And I have been quite happy to bag it out for it's highly succesful inbreeding program. Even suggested placing a wall around the entire state and damming it all, or towing it further offshore (like we did with NZ). But the reality is that we are a microcosm of Australian society, and any problems we have here, the mainland states already have in spades. So bag us out, go ahead, but constructive criticism is what we need, please remember that.
