I hope we hear from someone in Tasmania. I spotted a Thylacine in 1966 near Pearce RAAF Base but have told only a few people about my sighting.

They're like UFOs - no one really believes the reports, even those submitted by observers used to looking at the sky.

You can have a sighting backed up, not only by eye witnesses on the ground and in the air, but also seen on radar at the same time and still, very few believe.

Not that it matters - what can be done with the occasional sighting except generate a litte, and probably useless, interest
