Still trying to piece together export volume, came up with this table for Q1, based on comtrade $/kg, Value was specified in Q1 update at FY20 AGM which gives me volume for Q1 FY21, at Q1 update for FY21 AGM they said volume was up 148% so i can derive volume and value for this Q1.
Volume
Value A$
Cost/kg
1
Q1 FY21
2,561,664
27,100,000
10.579
2
Q1 FY22
6,352,927
89,363,918
14.067
Total volume of exports from Australia in Q1 this year was 8.4kt, so we exported 75% of total volume if the previous calculations are correct.
If we use that 75% figures for Q2 as well, which is just a guess, on what i think will be 18.7kt of exports, based on estimate of 1.5kt for December for countries other than China and Japan, it gives us 14kt export, which is a lot.
If domestic was flat at 14kt, it gives us 28kt for H1, GS estimate was 25kt.
Maybe 75% of exports for Q2 as well is a bit optimistic, not sure.
