that’s a pretty weird suggestion. Homelessness is a problem across the state and the likelihood of them making it down to hobart for a sit in is remote let alone doing a sit in anywhere. the charities feeding and clothing them also operate across the state. Can’t see a community based and highly effective charity in the northwest traipsing to hobart.
You are aware I presume that there is more to tasmania that hobart?

my impression is that while tasmania has seesawed in the past it is largely a conservative state and election choices compounded by a Labour Party that has not been able to pull itself together for years, an influx of older retired people and a high proportion of church goers who are very conservative in their life preferences. i also think closure of manufacturing has impacted voting patterns
