but, they want to be in government -- and that's what will count at the election

I do agree that plans need details - but, again, the problem with Oz (aside from poor culture) is that the enormity of steps required for Oz to thrust forward - require very large amounts of information and details

what is the point of that? --------- most on here cannot cope with more than 3 lines to read and cannot understand the most basic of concepts

it's also highly doubtful that many politicians are much better

time and time and time over we see inquiries and recommendations - and then -

    zip
    no action
and then, a while later - yet another disaster and then
another inquiry, more recommendations - often the very same then
    zip
    no action

    how does one change that?

the underlying culture, the do nothing, she'll be right, 'hopefully they'll forget' 'I'm alright jack'

etc etc --------------------- Oz is a massive waste of an incredible large block of dirt -

how so a waste? ------------- because of what Australians have not done - they have no plan, no goal, no aim, and they merely think about self ------------ not a nation and stagger from month to month, year to year

so, we get cut cut cut, low tax mentality and no investment for the country

no nation was ever built like that and never will be ------------ it's impossible

yep - plans need details ----------- but, you have to have a population that is prepared to accept that things need to be done and change

does that sound like Oz to you?
