Exactly! FLNG has its place in deep water only. These behemoths are unproven, cost mega s**tloads and the maintenance budget will be more than the GDP of some small nations.

TSLNG is essentially the topside only of a FLNG vessel but with no movement issues as on FLNG. Any movement in a process plant is a big deal as levels and flows etc are impacted and to mitigate these issues requires more engineering and thus more $$$

So the cost of the FLNG hull and all associated machinery,infrastructure, engineering, maintenance, insurance, anchoring .....on and on it goes.....is eliminated by Tassie Shoal. TS is not an option for the area it's as near to certain.
