    cheers blurrt.

Then there is scalability, CO2 processing (co-located) TSMP), direct-sea cooling, cheap CGS compared to FLNG alternative and as you say, "on it goes".

    No brainer.

Let my put it this way, if I had a real tacky job title at one of the majors along the lines of VP of Strategic New Energy Projects, and it was my job to come up with answers to stranded gas fields we (major) owned, I could either:
    - suggest TSLNG and risk my cushy job for backing an "unproven technology"
    - back FLNG, and when the bill comes in 80% over budget and three years behind schedule, I can always say "if Shell got it wrong, how was I to know . . .".

Point being, the domino effect. Once Eni back TS, Shell, Petronas Inpex, Osaka Gas (all ES partners) and others will come knocking. Case-in-point is FLNG for Prelude. Up until 18 months ago, FLNG was a pipe dream, then Prelude came along, now ALL of the above parties have announced their own FLNG plans.
