Piercings are not as bad as they can heal over. My then 15yo stepdaughter about 8 or 9 years ago nagged me about belly button piercing as her mother said no straight up and wouldn't budge.I told her that she was way too unadventurous and should get something much more radical like a split tongue, or implants like the guy who made himself look like a cat,or really radical body implants. Next comment was "you're weird Uncle Ron" but no more talk of stupid piercings or tatts. Job done.
