The only relevent question is whether it disolves tau tangles or not. If it doesn't then it's not going to be that effective. If it does then in conjunction with other drugs and some stem cell therapy it would be effective in improving the overall health of the brain.
Some things that need to be known to most people is that at the root of the problem is degredation of lysosomal efficiency in old age due to lipofusicin and perhaps mitochondrial disfuntion.
