Relatively new development in its field, going on 14 years plus with ‘... around 300000 patients in 65 countries and adoption is increasing by 40 % year on year. This field of TAVR is rapidly evolving, with major refinements in technology, ... ‘

They are incredible statistics and humble little Admedus have a involvement/potential impact thru its R&D of its own TAVR IP!

In the interim Edwards Lifesciences and Medtronic have been the main players in this field for a decade plus, ELS, for a massive 125 mill, in 2004, acquired a Israel company (PVT) to fast track its own R&D.

Medtronic, 5 years later, acquired Corevalue for 700 mill and then Ventor (another Israel company) for 325 mill!

Assume both companies continue to R&D and refine their IP; question for Admedus, does its IP hold its own in relation to reducing paravalvular leaks?, other results seem to surpass, any other factors to consider?

Boston Scientific involvement, another player, has suffered some quite serious setbacks, (interest in Admedus IP)?

Another possible contender for Admedus IP? ... St.Judes/Abbot, Abbot acquired St Jude Medical couple years back, ‘The addition of St Jude Medical strengthens our global medical devise leadership while offering products to address more areas of care, in more physicians offices and hospitals around the World’

Though the main two have a significant footprint and the ‘first mover’ advantage in this field it should be noted, imo, that a apparent ‘first mover’ advantage can be negated when new science surpasses the old!

All makes CardioCell seem a little bland!, all the above just a few thoughts I have ‘thrown’ into the ring, doing a little research has really impacted on myself what this company may actually be on too.
