I wouldn't go so far as calling him a moron, but he is a TA trader - they probably look toppy right now from a TA perspective.
I also think TA has a place, but will it define the LT trend of near term producers in a disruptive cycle - I highly doubt it. TA is good for picking entry and exit points, FA will be where the big money is made on these stocks.
