Friday's breakout on massive volume created a Price-Volume signal that many technical end-of-day traders are looking for. However, such a signal does not always lead to follow-up buying. Quite often, holders will see it as an opportunity to either take profit in positions bought at lower levels, or exit positions held for too long.
I fall into the former category, taking profit at 18c as soon as the excitement appeared to be over.
