stage 3 was originally designed to remove bracket creep and the remove the incentives to start trusts and companies as incomes grew. it was designed to remove the "need" to find ways to use "complex" tax reduction measures...... it was intended to be a flat 30% from $45K all the way to $200K.

after the changes to stage 3 the incentives to find tax reduction measures remain in place....... it is an opportunity lost for the country to reward hard work with simple tax measures that incentivise that hard work.
