It sounds like you have had some direct experience with this, so I'm quite interested to tap into that a bit more.

When you say "it works", are you saying that you are aware of an instance where this arrangement has been reviewed by the ATO and given the green light?

Alternatively, have you obtained a legal opinion?

At the risk of stating the obvious, just remember that all schemes can "work" under a self-assessment system. Its only when subjected to ATO scrutiny that the true bona-fides of the scheme are uncovered.

After all, it was only 12 or so months ago that everyone was saying that Dividend Washing schemes "worked" ;-)
