I sent an email to my local member about the so called $1.6 million limit on super this is part of the reply I got which totally confuses me
A limit of $1.6 million on amounts moving into the tax-free retirement phase. Amounts above $1.6 million can continue to be held in superannuation and will continue to attract generous tax concessions.
I was under the impression it effected money already in the pension phase?
