I have been trading for 14 ( great time to start) months and would be regarded as a trader by the ato guide lines have made over 100 trades and a brokerage of over $3000.00, made a loss of $320 on shares traded and have over $1000 of trading expenses.
I have a income of $55,000 from day job and have payed tax off $12,300 so it would be good to claim trading expenses
    against my regular income.
can someone help me with how to go about this eg what forms need to be filled out etc

If there are other out there that have done this you experiance and advice would be helpfull

I know there are lots of posts on this subject but most go into if one can be regarded as a trader or invester and not a lot about making a claim as a trader.
    thanks all

    paul
