fully franked means that comany tax has been paid on the full amount (being 30% tax) only if you are in a higher tax bracket you will pay the difference between your tax bracket and the 30% already paid
unfranked means you will have to pay tax on te full amount
partly franked means only that part that has been franked will carry the 30% discount
