Great posts ddzx
I was unaware of the ability to choose cost base or market value at the end of year. I am classified as a trader and have been for years but my accountant has always used closing end of year market value .
So to be clear - I can nominate per stock which method to use long as it carries into the following year. How about if I have a business /Company that I do some trading with, can I still nominate per stock what value I take , market value or cost base
