My post included an extract from the ATO web site - it is shown in quotes. The purpose of my original post was to contribute to the discussion under this thread.

I bought my Yigarn Gold Options (KIKO) on the market about 2+ years ago, so if I choose to sell them on market before expiry, then I will be entitled to a 50% CGT discount. That is all I was pointing out.

I am yet to decide which way to go as I have quite a large amount of them .... great position to be in.

I am not suggesting that I will take this path as I think KIK has a very clever management team and a bright future ahead.
